Where can i find information about environmentally friendly cars in los angeles?

I'm doing research for a college course about green vehicles and how they benefit los angeles. is there a physical place i can go in los angeles that can give me more information about this topic? (ie, museums, educational centers, city funded places, etc)

There was an article in LA Times a few months back about a mechanic (Lovecraft) in LA converting cars from diesel to straight veggie oil. You might do an archive search on their website.

Go to the Peterson Automotive Museum. You can see the first electric car built in 1917. They also have an entire exhibit going on right now for alternative fuel cars.

This is one of the biggest auto shows in the nation and has tons of discplays on eco friendly cars and the industry.

The Greater Los Angeles Auto Show is an annual auto show that takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. The show has been held annually since 1907. The first show took place at Morley's Skating Rink in downtown Los Angeles, just four blocks from the current Convention Center location.
