Where can i find instructions for uploading video, audio, and photo to enter a contest?

I need to upload video, audio, and a photo to enter into a contest. My computer has 'Nero' Smartstart, and 'Media Player Classic' for copying and burning. I need to know how to copy, save, and upload into online contest forms. Is there anyone who knows how to find this information? I have Windows XP, Internet Explorer.
