i need to fill it in for an application for the royal navy.

it needs my birth certificate number.

where is it?

is it the number at the bottom?

the entry number?

or the NHS number?

  1. UK answer.

    Up until 1995 the NHS number  was included on a UK birth certificate, the certificate number is on every certificate issued, and your NI number is issued before you leave school at age sixteen.

  3. Hey bru, glad to see I'm not the only one who had difficulty finding the birth certificate number! I am also applying for th Royal Navy and the number you are looking for should be a 6/7 digit number on the top right of the form that starts with GO and then you number.

  4. You have to go to the Register Office and tell them to find your registration number on the original birth certificate
