It's 2 Letters followed by 8 Numbers long and could be part of the reference on your bank statement.

If you can't find it, phone the Child Benefit helpline and ask them.  

They will ask you a number of questions for security purposes and once your number is traced they will tell you it.

If there have been any changes to your circumstances that you have not informed them about  e.g. change of address, you will need to mention that when asked.
