I have been looking for outside things for my 1 1/2 year old for the back yard, but everything I have found has been really expensive. Does anyone have any ideas they could throw my way?

  1. a dollar store, I just went shopping today and found all kinds of beach, dirt, water toys for my 15mth old to play with this summer :)

  2. I would start going to yard sales, I have found a lot of very cheap good toys at yard sales.

  3. Go to a re-sale shop.

  4. Craigslist

  5. www.freecycle.com

i have given and received tons of great kids stuff

  6. My son loved bubbles and balls when he was little, and we got climbers and things from freecycle, craigs list, and garage sales.

  7. go to walmart and buy bubbles,a bubble machine,

a sand box, sand toys and a bouncy ball.

  8. Buy the kid a ball.  Srsly, kids don't need all that expensive lawn yunk - they're just as happy playing with simple, inexpensive things.

  9. Garage sales! I got my son a Little Tikes climber for $5, another bigger one for $20 and a play house for $30.

  10. your best bet is craigslist or the pennysaver or the recycler !~! i always sell my three year old toys and cars and stuff on there for really cheap .. i rather have someone else have it since i keep all her stuff in really good shape rather then throw it away !~! .. you just have to look .. i like to at night when shes asleep !~!

  11. Oh, gosh.. walmart:  a ball, a shovel, a little truck the kid can push around in the dirt and make vroom vroom noises with.

  12. Try the craiglist for your area and garage sales.  Also,  in my area they have a thing called Just Between Friends, and it's where people take all their used childrens clothes and toys and sell them every few months.  There are lots of good deals out there!  Ebay can also work, just limit the search to your area.

  13. the dollar general store has many outdoor toys right now.. and they are about to put them up on sale relatively quick. Go check them out!!! Also if you have a Dollar Tree in your area you can get so many things!!

  14. Try yard sales and thrift stores for used ones. Put an ad in the paper saying you are looking for these items.
