Go in for SKYPE ,they are the cheapest and the best for VOIP phone calls.

if your calling from a land line.

most indian news agents have phone cards advertised in their window really really cheap.

a good quality line. buy a happy hours card £5-10 pound will get you 3-4 hrs worth of calls.and no bills on the land line. i phone japan every week for 3 hrs £10.BTwould cost £120.
