Where can i find past obituaries for los angeles in july of 1981 without having to pay? most want money?

im trying to find the obits. of the people murdered at the wonderland house in july of 1981, and i have found NOTHING!! every website wants money or they dont have them. ive looked everywhere!! please help!! their names are:ronald lee launius, william ray deverell, barbara lee richardson, and joy audrey miller. death date was july 1st, 1981. please help!!!!

Have you tried your local or national newspapers? Or how about a good library. They usually keep all the back issues of stuff like that. Used to be on microfisch/film. Not sure how they do it now. Or maybe access the British Library via the web. Think they have a copy of everything ever written down on paper all bar my shopping list!
