I personally didnt like the book. But I cannot deny that it is a classic in literature and a must-read.

not sure, but i read the book in the 6th grade and again my sophomore year of high school, also saw the movie version and really liked it. The story is disturbing on so many levels and really tests the question if humans are intrinsically good or evil... The id, the ego, and the superego are all to be explored through the characters.
