Where can i find people to travel around the world with me?

Question

i really want to travel around the world in January, however all my friends are in long term relationships, so they are out of the question. I don't really like the thought of finding people on the internet, are there success stories from travlling (I'm not on about the ones that are in magazines... i.e we met on-line 3weeks ago and now we are married!lol). Plus how do i no they are genuine and the site is safe as I'm only 19!!???? please help. Thanks

i would but am skint lol and make a blog or something
