I am 14 and I am looking for people who need babysitting on weekends and over the summer. I looked on craigslist.com but nothing is coming up, its more people saying that they are available TO babysit, not that they need babysitting. any help here?

  1. where do you live? i'm looking for a sitter. i'm in MN

  2. You might try offering your services at a local church on Sunday mornings.  Once parents are comfortable with how you interact with the children and you make them aware that you are available for hire, you will probably get more offers than you can cover.  This worked for both my daughters who are now 18 & 19.  Good Luck!

  3. im 15 and i have the exact same problem. my advice to you is to print fliers with tear off tabs with you number on them. type on the pace you name, age, how old and how many kids you good with. and what pay you perfer. if you get a call take it no matter what. if the kids and parents liked you then theyll either call you agian, spread the word, or both. hope i helped, and good luck!

  4. Don't even try craigslist it's all scams.  The best way is to ask your parents if they can help get the word out to their friends and co-workers that their daughter is looking for a babysitter.

  5. Sometimes your school job/career center/office will have postings. Try your local paper and billboards, post billboard advertisements, ask neighbors and your parents friends.

  6. hi! try the library or your siblings schools! i posted a thing at my brothers school and tons of ppl took my number! also sometimes on the daily announcements they tell you about babysitting jobs. that's where i heard about the job i got on Fridays:D
