  1. Genocide would be artifical selection.  It's a result of a deliberate manipulation of the environment, not natural selection.

  3. The terms "genocide" and "natural selection" are an oxymoron! They do not link together. Natural selection is, well, natural. It is an inevitable consequence of the process of reproduction. Genocide is a human-made form of selection, nothing natural about it.

    So, short answer, you shouldn't be able to find any reputable scholarly evidence that supports that hypothesis.

  5. This is a good question because it raises the idea that the human species would, could, or did attempt to kill members of it's species that it felt were weaker. The correlation is that "lessor animals" often do kill members of their species that they view as weaker, injured, or deformed in some way. And we all know that this does accrue in the animal kingdom.
