Where can i find school closing info for sebring fl??

Im new here, and wit hthe Hurricane comming on the day school starts, i cant find that info anywhere, Its not like i can call the school right now since they are closed. Any pointers in the right directio nwould be very helpful, thanks in advance!!

You may call the sheriff's office. Not 911, the actual office number. Chances are that you will have school tomorrow but maybe not tuesday. Actually the schools still have people there several days before opening. Have you tried to call them or you just assume that no-ones there? There is quite a bit of preparation that goes into a new school year so of course there is someone there! Fay isn't expected to make landfall on Southern Florida until Monday afternoon/evening. She is also only a Tropical storm still, she may upgrade to a hurricane before she hits but she won't be above a category 2 at the most. Don't be disappointed if you have to go to school anyways!  I live in Gainesville, FL so I'm also keeping track of Fay!
