www.overton's.com, that's where my wife gets hers, and the "Flight coat", "Life vests" and "Chaff Guards" for the water, we have a boat and she likes swimming in the sandy coves here, she buys the stuff here because, they carry a line called "GIRLS THAT RIDE", and all the apparel is made for a woman's body, they fit her better than the "General" surf products.

Pacsun or Quicksilver. They have pretty cute short and long boardshorts. I just got these really cute black Hurley boardshorts at Pacsun.

Check out the retailers like Billabong, Quiksilver, RipCurl or I guess it would be Roxy instead of Quik for you.

Unless you live near the coast, a surf shop might be difficult.  Instead of going to the mall and going to PacSun or Hollister or whatever that other c**p is, go online to Valsurf.com or Swell.com or check "where to guy online" from one of the retailer sites mentioned above.
