Where can i find some scholarships that dont require huge essays?

I have been looking online for a pretty long time now for some college scholarships. and the only ones that I have found require you to write long essays for a chance to win a small amount of money. I am not being lazy but I just thought that there had to be another way to get money for college, aren't there any scholarships that require something besides a huge essay?

A scholarship search allows you to create a profile and receive information for all the scholarships that you are eligible to apply for based on your profile description, for example: a scholarship for a student who is from NYC.
