Where can i find steel wool around the house?

i just ran out of liter fluid and i need to start a fire...and i heard that steel wool was an easy fire starter....but where can i find it around the house

Steel wool will burn with a source of ignition, but what are you trying to burn? Do you just want to lite a smoke, then go to your stove!

i dont think you can but you can get it from hardware stores. you sound pretty desperate to start a fire!
