Where can i find stuff to decorate and organize my lockr with

Question

ok it is my first year with a locker and i am a girl so duh!! i want to decorate my locker.. what i was thinking was to put like a collapsing book shelf.. then on the door when you open it up have like a mirror and dry erase board and then in the back have some like material to make it pop.! for the book shelf can someone give me a site for where to buy it!! plz and thx

I'm going into 7th grade and l got my stuff at WalMart and Staples! I got cute little animal magnets and magnets that had little desins on them!, a white bored,locker shelf,and a little pencil holder thing, I made this little piece of of paper and wrote Hayley's friends at the top and I'm gonna have my friends sign it during the school year. I also have a lot of pictures of my friends and little pics I got off the internet. You should just be yourself and add things that you like some pics of your friends would be nice but like add watever. I added a pic that my 5 y/o sister colored for me and hung it up in my locker!.And like the basic stuff that you need a locker shelf,white bored, magnets, and a little locker pencil holder thing. I hope I helped! By the way are you going into 6th grade or what? I'm going into 7th but I'm only 11 y/o and not turning 12 till Oct 29! lol! I waz the youngest one in the Middle School last year! :-)

well you can find the book shelf in most office supply stores, and as for decorating, here are some ideas:

-put wrapping paper on you locker door. it'll give it a nice background rather than the boring blah color you probably have now

-put up a mirror, but from personal experiences i've found that dry erase boards dont work so well, i never had time to use it, and it got hard to erase because the writing was up there so long, but if you want it, go for it! it takes up valuable space as well, so you cant put up as much other stuff

-pictures pictures pictures!!! before school, have a get together with your friends and take tons of fun silly pictures, so you can put them up on your locker and remind you of all the good times and cheer you up. also go online and find cute fun little sayings and pictures of stuff you like; celebrities, nature stuff, hobbies, etc. so that you can have a nice "pick me up" every time you open your locker on a bad day. i would recommend taping the pictures instead of magnets, because they usually fall off and its a hassle to find the fallen pictures, the magnet, etc.

-add something 3-D! add like little fake flowers, or those magnetic stuffed animal things (if you know where to find them). it will make your locker pop!

I would get some shelves for the bottom of your locker and a mirror and one of those clipboard/bulletin board things. Buy lots of magnets and stuff to hang your schedule and pictures. Put posters and other cool things and buy some "magnetic caddies" and magnetic pads of paper just in case you forget. You can get locker shelves at Staples. You could probably try Wal-Mart too.
