Where can i find the VIN number on my 1991 850i bmw?

If you look at your windshield on the driver's side, it should be down by the dash. It could also be on the sticker if you open the driver's side door. If you have an insurance card you can check on that too. The title should have it also.

Your VIN number is on a plate behind the drivers side windshield. Look through the windshield from the outside near your windshield wipers and you should see it.

Every single body part has a black and white vin number sticker on it from the factory and they usually don't fall off they are quite tough.  the fenders doors trunk lid the cylinder heads And every car sold in the U.S made for the U.S market MUST have the vin number clearly visible thru the windshield on the drivers side.  If you can't find the vin numbers in most all the places I mentioned you may have a previously stolen car.  Also a 850i is a complete disaster car.  I will not even take a customers money to inspect one, instead I talk them out of buying it.  The 850i is near the top of the BMW biggest mistake car list.
