You were listening to "Alpha" by Vangelis, a world-famous greek contemporary composer of classical and electronic music alike. You can find this track on his album "Albedo 0.39". You'll find other music used in the series in the track "Pulstar" of the same album, as wel as fragments of another album of his, "Heaven and h**l".
