where can i find a list of the best dirt race tracks in the country such as knoxville eldora etc.

and where can i find a list of the highest paying events?

The National Speedway Directory lists every type track in the US. and Canada.

Are you racing sprints, late models, modifieds?  

My suggestion would be follow wherever the WoO goes.

Wherever there is a big NASCAR track, Vegas, Texas, Daytona, Charlotte, there are very good dirt tracks and often times high paying events whenever NASCAR is in town.  Vegas has an AWESOME track, so does Texas.  But the biggest purses are going to be where the WoO is.
