Go to e-bay and enter union pacific in toys and hobbies.  You can find H, HO and N scale cars.

Some local hobby shops may have model trains, but usually not a good selection unless you're in a big city.

Just about any hobby shop will carry them.  You can look them up in the Yellow Pages, either under "Hobby Shops" or something under "Rail".

If you don't mind shelling out the few bucks, pick up a Model Railroader magazine next time you're at a newsstand, book store, or large grocery store.  Near the back, they have geographical listings of hobby shops, so you should be able to find one near you.

Honestly, good luck. Ever since UP got that new attorney, they have been going after any "unlicensed" use of the up name like you wouldnt believe. Lawsuits, all the fun stuff.

If they would devote half of the energy they spend on legal issues to running a railroad instead, I might consider buying a model.
