  1. its from a completely different perspective

    http://english.aljazeera.net/

  2. The two candidates' Web sites will give some information along those lines. Factcheck.org keeps an eye on both of them.

  3. fox news... SYKE

    try wikipedia

  4. For disputed or questionable assertions, factcheck.org is a well-respected researcher.  For general information on issues, each candidate's website should have position papers available for reference or download.  Unfortunately, even with that data in hand, you'll still have the task of sorting out the apples from the oranges.

(I'm sure there are sites that detail each candidate's voting record, but these are sometimes less than useful unless you're really into Parliamentary Procedure.  A number of advocacy groups also publish summaries of voting records on bills or issues they follow.  If you run those through factcheck, you'll likely get a pretty accurate picture ... of two moving targets.)
