  1. Depends on where you are located. If you're in the US, the Half-Price Books chain is a fantastic source of new and used books. Then there's the online sites like Ebay, Craigslist, Ebid etc, etc. Thrift stores are also great places to find heaps of books which have often only been read once.

Or you could try Betterworld books, which offers free shipping in the US, and $3.97 shipping worldwide.

  2. Often you can find purchase collections of books cheaply at local garage sales, flea markets (or "swap meets" as some areas call them) and such.  Local libraries often have sales a few times a year where you can buy books cheaply.

Otherwise, I've used all of the following sites in the past to purchase books:

    http://www.half.com

    http://www.ebay.com

    http://www.experiencedbooks.com

    http://www.abebooks.com

    http://www.amazon.com

  3. http://www.paperbackswap.com/index.php

It's a free book club for all kinds of books in good condition.

Check it out & if you join, please tell them bluestar referred you.

    Hope this helps!

  4. On amazon you can by a lot of used books i mean some are like 10p, but you have to be carefull to find out what condition they are in. But usually they are all fine because if you complain and have prove they will fine them or take awatheirer account.
