  1. Any grocery store. Actually boiling a whole chicken has more flavor. Just cover the chicken in a pot with cold water. Bring to a boil, skim the foam off, add salt, pepper, spoon of sugar, an onion. Return to a boil then reduce and simmer for a an hour. When done set in fron of the fan to cool for a while. When cool remove the chicken nfrom the pot n take the meat off the bones. NEVER THROW THE BROTH AWAY!! PUT IN ZIPLOC BAGS N KEEP IN FREEZER FOR SOUP OR DUMPLINGS THIS WINTER!

    Then follow the chicken salad recipe:

    Chicken Salad Recipe

    2 cups cooked chicken, diced;

    1/2 cups celery, finely diced;

    1/2 cup red onion diced

    1/4 cup green onions chopped

    3 hard boiled eggs, finely chopped;

    4 tablespoons sweet pickles choppped n some of the juice or sweet relish;

    3 tablespoon of miracle whip;

    salt and pepper to taste;

    Preparation Instructions: Combine chicken, celery, eggs, sweet relish, onions and poultry season in large mixing bowl. Next stir in salad cream and mayonnaise or miracle whip. If desired, miracle whip. Finish off with salt and pepper to taste.

    Cover and chill in refrigerate

  2. Any place you can buy meat. you can go to a meat store or grocery store. If it is for a family of 4 or 5 or just self, get chicken b*****s, if it needs to serve a large group, then get the whole chicken. (with the backbone, you can remove that easily)

  3. You can get a rotissarie chicken already cooked at most grocery stores.  I know Wal-Mart has them.  They are really good.  They have chunk white chicken in the can like tuna fish in a can.

  4. You should welcome the bones and remove them after cooking it.  Bones is where all the flavor is!  People just got away from using bone in chicken..and why I don't know.  IT is MUCH moister and much more flavorful than boneless chicken!

    You can get a roasted chicken at any store..including Sam's.!  All you do is pick it apart!

  5. I've made this quite a few times and it's always good.
