  1. For that, you have to wait until Spring/Summer of 2009, and for the opening ceremony, its on NBCOlympics.

  2. It would be about 100+ hours long, and if/when they do come out with it, it won't be for months. For now, you can order the Beijing opening ceremony at the NBC shop, and the closing ceremony should be out in a few weeks. You can also order Michael Phelps' story and races, as well on NBC.

  3. First off, you'll need to be a bit more patient, the games ended just yesterday!

But once it's out I guess you'll be able to find it on stores online.

  4. Well, it probably wouldn't of been released yet if there was one, you will probably just have to keep on Google searching things like 'Beijing Olympic DVD'

  5. In Dreamland.  You need a 80GB hard drive just to cover what was on primetime.  That's about 65 to 70 hours of video.  I think there are over 2100 hours of video on nbcolympics.  I guess that equates to about 2.4 Terabytes for everything.  Maybe only 1.5TB  after you edit out all the commercials. That equates to about  319 DVD's and that's not even in HD.

The best thing you can so is to view the olympics from Windows Media Center.  You need to have windows XP or Windows Vista and you also need to download Silverlight from Microsoft.  There is a channel on Windows Media Center it for NBC Olympics where they have nearly everything covered.

You also need a cable connection.  The video is HD.
