  1. I would recommend petfinder.com or craigslist.org.

If anything you could also try a local pet store(family/friends owned) but don't go to the big pet store like Petsmart or Petco. There are many reasons for that.

Try adopting a ball python before buying them from a store though.

Every animal(reptiles, dogs, cats, hamsters, etc) you adopt is an animal you save. Every animal you buy from stores is an animal you kill from shelters/ foundations/ rescue. Buying snakes should be your last resort because there are a lot of reptile rescue foundation out there that are dedicated in saving snakes and other reptile.

And the adoption prices are VERY reasonable....nothing like the stores who are well over $90.

    Hope this could help you!

  2. www.petfinder.com

  3. Pet Stores are good places to start. C.L.S, Petco, Petsmart, and online.

  4. Definitely check www.petfinder.com or any other local shelter. Ball Pythons are one of the most common reptiles found in shelters because they grow so large and require such large food.

That being said, they are sweet and completely adorable. Hope you find a great one!

  5. Im not sure about local pet stores but i suggest not to get one online...you never know what kind of condition the snake is in...it is better to see it and check it out before you spend money on something you havent seen

    Good Luck!

  6. I would look in the phone book or online for a BP breeder. There are many out there. Also, there are many things you need to watch for, so seeing the snake, watching it eat (this is a huge deal since they are notoriously picky eaters) etc. is a good idea. Here is the best resource I have seen yet for the care of a BP, and it may answer a lot of your questions or at least point you in the right direction... Especially read the part about captive bred vs. captive hatched. Good luck!
