you dont get a baseball fixed.  once it loses its stitches, you just hit it as far as you can and leave it.  

go to walmart or a local sporting goods store.  they are only $2-3

You can get it autographed by several techniques.  

go to a baseball game - minor league or major league and wait after the game where the players come out.  

you could try to send the ball to your favorite baseball club requesting as many autographs as possible.

Your first step should be to consult with a memorabilia dealer to make sure that a repair would not make the ball less valuable. If the ball has historical significance. a repair may actually lower the value.
