im sure kijiji.ca has some free birds but remember you still have to buy other things (kijiji is like ebay my friend got his aussie from it for a good price too)

If you can't afford the out the door price then you *really* can't afford to keep it properly.

The real cost of exotic pets is in the care.  vet bills for exotics typically run 4 to 5 times the cost of cats and dogs.
