Where can i get a brazilian wax done?

hi i really wanna stop shaving cuz i get really irritated i wanna try waxing or sugaring. but i have no idea where to go to get it done does it have to be some sort of salon? where can i find a place close by? also is it expensive and how much does it hurt? cuz ive plucked pubic hair before after i missed it from shavin and i almost cried lol

Yeah it will hurt....badly. But, its worth it. Plus the more often you get it done the thinner your hair gets. And you can build up a tolerance to it. I would take some IB profen before you to.  If i were you i would grab a phone book and look in the yellow pages and just call up some local salons and ask if they do brazilians. They run around $30 to $50 depending on where you go. But they last way longer than shaving. Some places even have a wax special every tuesday or something.

I'm sure most salons do it! Just go to google maps or hit the telephone book if you're old school & search "Beauty Salons (Your Area)", call & ask if they do brazillian waxes & if they dont check the next closest one.

go on yahoo yellowpages and look up local spas. they can usually do it.  i would call and ask them about it and how much it is. do that with a few places. compare prices and how good the spa sounds to get the best wax you can :)

I don't know where you live, but i live close to NYC and that is the only place i will go. If you find an actual Brazilian to do it that is your best bet. They know how to do it without feeling like you are going to die. lol  Good luck!

Most salons will do it.  If they don't you can always buy Nair and do it at home.

A beauty salon, or buy it from a shop and do it at home. but properly going to a professional is better.

a brazillian wax, which is the best, will hurt / sting for a good 2-5 seconds then its ok. there are so many places that do this service, manicure, pedicure, salons, tanning places, feminine places its not hard to find at all. its not expensive. plucking will hurt more because you are doing 1 at a time and its not as fast. the waxing is a very fast pull which removes all hair (or almost all) at one fast pull.

Don't pluck pubic hair.  Anyway, most salons will do Brazilian waxing.  I would suggest using a salon that has been recommended to you buy a friend that way you know the salon will do what you want with no disastrous results or too much pain.
