Where can i get a cheap Nikon D model for cheap?

Aren't ' Cheap '

New, the cheapest camera you could get in the series would be the nikon d40, with an 18-55mm dx lens, but you're not going to want to use that for everything, the focal length, is a little rusty. You could get a d40 with the lens, for 470$- and lower on http://amazon.com and the lenses you could get a  cheap too. That's the cheapest nikon d series camera with a lens.

However, if you can't afford that, you could always get a used unit, there's no shame in that :)
