Where can i get a copy of my birth certificate?

i never seen a copy of my birth certificate, my mother said she lost it , but she couldn't not for this long. sometime i think she's trying to hide something that's on it. where can i get a copy and see who my parents are and all that good stuff

go to your local courthouse ask the county clerks office that you want a copy of your birth certificate have a valid id  and social security card at least 30 bucks on hand it will cost you and if you have the county you were born at it might help
