my husband is starting med school this winter, any ideas where to get a decent medical pda?

  1. You can have  a look at HP (Hewlett-Packard) iPAQ 111 PDA ..It is a good one to try..

    The lowest price i find for it is only $240.

  2. i dont know what programs he would want to run but you really dont need a fancy pda to run most database programs, i have micromedex's pharmacy software which is pretty nice (he could probably get it for free too) and i just have one of the first dell axim models they made in the early 2000s (x3 or x5 i forget) that i bought on ebay for $70, im going to use it until i graduate (or drop it/throw it at someone). its kinda slow and pauses for a couple seconds to think when you do something, and i had to put the program on a flash card because the hard drive wasnt big enough but it gets the job done if youre cash strapped and dont want to shell out $300. if you want to spend more pretty much any new one would be fine its just a matter of whether you like pocketpc or palm interface better. read some reviews and find out whats good.
