  1. I have a better answer for you. It won't matter which province you acually want to fish, Canadian Tire stores are located in just about every town with a population of 15,000 or more in every province. Canadian Tire is our major sporting goods/hardware/everything store. They all sell the local fishing licence and unlike Gov't offices are open 7 days a week (except in N.S.). Just ask for one at the service counter the day you want to fish

An alternative is if you are at a marina, many sell them there as well.

  2. In Canada, dumbass

  3. "Where can I get a fishing licence for the United States? I live in Alberta."

    Canada's a big country, man.

I'll try and answer your question.

Sportfishing is a provincial jurisdiction. Where you get a licence depends on where you want to fish.

If you plan on fishing in Ontario (likely, since you live in Michigan), then you need to get a fishing licence through the Government of Ontario. You can get information about fishing permits here:

    http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/fishing/oc.html

Good luck, and be nice to the fish.

  4. I'm afraid Pete is right.
