Have you tried Alice Cooperstown?  I didn't have one (I'm vegetarian), but they looked really good.

Great question!  My husband has been searching ever since me moved here in 1999.  We're from the East coast, so he's primarily interested in NY style dish water dogs.  So he ended up creating his own blend of spices to boil in the water to give the aroma and flavor of the hot dogs from back home.  If you want his actual recipe of spices, privately email me and I'll have him reply.  It's not a big secret!

I know he prefers Sabrett dogs, but is OK with Boar's Head or Dietz & Watson.  Good luck in your search!

Near the I-17 and Bell Rd. but they have good hot dogs. Also I just saw an article in some newspaper maybe 2 weeks ago listing the top 10 places in Phx for a dog. Try to search for it.
