Where can i get an inflight internet adapter?

I need an inflight internet adapter but i can't find one anywhere. Its for a laptop, sometimes if i want to take a laptop with me on the flight all the way to hong kong, sometimes i might want to go on the internet for the whole flight.

Any suggestions where i can get an inflight internet adapter from?

You can't actually use wireless on the flight, it has to be Wired cable or something so it can connect the internet on the flight, if you use the wireless on the inflight then it will disrupt the aircraft, and it can be easily malfunctioned.

And also where can i get a inflight charger for the laptop?

  1. Very few airlines currently offer internet connectivity on their flights and if they do they will provide the means for you to connect your laptop to their internet service once you have paid the price for that access.  As for a "charger" you usually cannot connect a laptop to aircraft power to charge your battery but if the aircraft has a power port you can connect your laptop with the battery removed.  You should contact the airline you are traveling, or check this website:

if you know the aircraft type you will be on.  Remember, however, that sometimes there are equipment changes prior to your departure which may affect availability of in-flight power.  Also, some airlines are in the process of adding power ports so not all aircraft of a particular type may be outfitted.

  2. Some foreign airlines do provide internet access via an ethernet cable that will plug into a port on the armrest.

  3. There's no such thing as wired Internet on an airplane. At this point, there doesn't seem to be WiFi on an airplane either, but several airlines have said they'll be introducing it on domestic flights in the near future. If you're on a flight with WiFi, they'll let you know.

As far as inflight power goes, there's at least three different kinds of plugs, and you'll need to know what airline and what kind of plane to know what you need. If you're lucky, there'll be a regular 110v outlet, but it might be a car-style lighter socket, or something called an Empower. SeatGuru has a good roundup of what they are and what you need.
