  1. You could volunteer at a local Save-A-Pet animal shelter.

    Or. . .

You could walk dogs which pays really, really well. Like if you walk a dog for $10 per hour, and you walk 5 dogs together that also pay $10 an hour, your lookin' at $50 an hour.

It's good that you want a job in animal care...

  2. You could start a pet sitting business and take care of animals around your neighborhood.

  3. first of all, if you are of age, you can always apply at the vets office or either the shelter.  if you are not of age, you can walk dogs and even put an add in paper for someone to take care of other peoples animals as they decide to go out of town.  ask around about elderly people who need someone who can bathe or brush animals for them.  you can charge them accordingly and have some pocket money.  good luck

  4. u can volunteer at the animal shelter or humane society, i think u have to be 14. u can also try dogwalking or ur own private business, petsitting?

  5. Well whats a young age?

You can go to a humane society I think, not sure though

  6. my sister did work experience at a horse stables when she was about 15 but didn't get paid cos it was for a school business study

you could try a dogs kennel or a pet shop and volunteer to feed them then when you get some experience ask if you could work there properly

  7. You are not legal to get a job at a young age, but I suggest volunteering at an animal pound or something like that till you reach the age and then get a job.

  8. Volunteer at a pound.

  9. You can usually volunteer at your local humane society. So you wouldn't get paid. But for most humane societies, if you are about 17 or under you must have an adult accompanying you. So before you volunteer or look into this make sure you have a parent/guardian's support and willingness to help you/go along with you. Hope the helps!

  10. volunteer or go to local vet to help. or animal shelter

  11. Depends on the age, but usually you can go with adult supervision or parental consent to volunteer at your local shelter or humane society. There are no paid jobs for children under 16 (15 and special conditions) that is the law. However, even over 16 many places taking care of animals have insurance companies that will not permit them to hire anyone under 18 years of age.

You can also always take up a pet walking or pet sitting job. With that comes it's own responsibilities, but you can build your reputation with animals that way. Later you can utilized the owners as references for future jobs working with animals.

  12. You can volunteer but I'm not so sure about getting payed. You can dog-walk...
