Where can i get a job working in stables with horses?

i really need a job desperatley i'm only 16 i can't sit on my *** all day because i like to be out doing things.

  1. I suggest you go to local stables and ask them if they have any working student positions. I was a working student for 5 years before I owned my own horse and I learned everything from cleaning stalls to showing horses. It's good to start as a working student at your age, cause when you get older, you're not going to have as much spare time for this and you'll most likely have many financial burdens to meet. And on top of that, you'll build your connections and networking at a younger age  , so a few years down the road you may be able to move up to a much higher level. That's what I did, and I never regretted it. Now I'm doing pretty well at horse shows and am getting many job offers to be an exercise rider or assistant trainers-- the jobs that I really wanted back when I was a working student at 12 years old. =]


  2. you have a computer, do a search for stables and start applying !

  3. Go to every stable you know, and ASK if they need help even if its volentary work, then you may get a full time job out of it.
