  1. Eggs

Cereals, breads, or pastas that are fortified with iron

Beans and nuts, including peanut butter, almonds, peas, lentils, and white, red, and baked beans

Dried fruits (for example, raisins, apricots, and peaches), prune juice

Vegetables such as spinach and other dark green, leafy vegetables

  2. i think you should take vitamins. they have special ones for women who need more iron in there bodies.

  3. Spinich!

Why don't you consider being a pescatarian (I think that's what it's called... where you eat fish but not meat!)

That's what I am because I was a vegetarian but I didn't want to take iron tablets and I was almost anaemic.

  4. well i personally dont think its a good idea to become a vegeterian because the best iron is from red meat. you could take iron pills and stuff, buts its not as good for you. if you dont get enough iron, you can become anemic which makes you feel tired all the time. go to the dr.s and get your blood tested for iron every once in a while to make sure you are getting enough.

as for protein, i suggest that you have trail mixes (nuts, almonds, ect) peanutbutter, eggs and t h ings like that.

  5. iron and vitamins are usually good..but if ur not so much into taking pills or dont like them..eating greens like romaine lettuce are very heavy in irons..vegetables and drinking milk is good

  6. lots of energy drinks

  7. Take vitamins, eat things like bread, cereal, eggs (unless you're not going to be eating eggs..) yogurt, bananas, things like that.

    Hope this helps! :)

  8. You are a bit limited being Vegetarian, because the best Iron sources come from meats, however, here are a few suggestions:

    Enriched breakfast cereals

    Cooked beans and lentils

    Pumpkin seeds

    Black strap Molasses

    Canned beans

    Baked potato with skin

Also, some food items can enhance iron absorption, if consumed in the same meal here are a few:

    Red Wine, Coffee & Tea

Vegetables: Spinach, chard, beet greens, rhubarb and sweet potato

    Whole grains and bran

    Soy products

    Enriched pasta

    Canned asparagus
