You can buy a really nice phone almost anywhere! I would recommend Ubid.com Keep in mind that a phone without service will cost you a little more and you should decide on a phone company first.

Not all phones are compatible with all service and if you choose a CDMA phone for example and decide on GSM service plan, your phone isn't going to work!

My suggestion, decide on a phone company and then look at phones to make sure the phone you want will work with that service!

T-Mobile for instance has GSM (General Service Mobile) and a phone that will work on GSM service will be useless on a service like Sprint which uses CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access)!
