  2. do you have the proper passport to travel in come back to the US ,that is all you need to visit Germany ..

    make sure if you go ? that you will have enough time remaining on your US passport ,at least 6 months ,required by the US and most countries ..

    otherwise ? just go ..........and have a good trip ........))

  4. If you are a US Citizen, canadian, mexican, central american and of most of south american nationality you dont need a visa to go to Germany.

  5. I assume you're just going for a short visit? If so, you can go to Germany as a US citizen for up to 90 days without having to apply for a visa. And if you are going longer to study abroad or something, sometime when you get there you will have to apply for a student visa and it takes a few weeks.

  7. Yeah, unless you plan on staying more than 3 months, you don't need any additional paperwork. Its not like travelling to the US.
