Where can i get an Ovilus?

With the amount of materials in it  you would think that it would go for under a hundred bucks.  With the hype around it it will probably go for more.  It is  a specialized piece of equipment that not every one will want or know about.  So that may triple the price."

You can get it at the link below. Perhaps you're not aware of the details of this gimmick.

If you're actually interested in research and not just traipsing around in the dark scaring yourself, why would you be interested in a device that is sold as "for entertainment purposes only"?  No device that scientists use for research that I know of has such a label, yet many paranormal investigators seem to think that this device would lend credibility to their ghost hunting. That logic escapes me.

I have not seen the circuit diagram for this, but based on what I saw and what the instruction manual says, all it does is make arbitrary sensor readings (probably EM), and based on those it arbitrarily selects a word from it's arbitrarily loaded internal dictionary, and then uses a voice synth to vocalize that word.
