I've got a great roomy one from Primark £6! Which is great because I can get a new one every month! But for £30 I'd look in River Island, New Look, Accessorize. They do large handbags which can fit everything in!

Instead of getting your normal rucksack, trying going for a handbag.

Normla highstreet shops do some gorgoues sholder bags that would be great for carrying books in.

I saw a really nice on in Next the other day but it was a mans bag...don't kno if you'd like that.

Over sized bags are of course still in fashion as well so you'll keep in with a trend, whilst looking less like a school kid and having plenty of room for allt he cr*ap that school gives you :)

try roxy or animal. they have lots of bags that most girls your age would buy. they have really nice prints on them too.

I think this would make for a pretty darn cute & stylish substitute for a typical school backpack this coming school season.  Especially for college students who only go to a few classes a day and don’t carry around a lot of books.  This dark amber color is my favorite, but it also comes in black patent & white patent.
