Where can i get an irish passport from as i need to obtain one

i need to buy a irish passport for my mom as she is irish and i need to know where to buy it from.

You need to contact the Irish Embassy of your country. The cost of the Irish passport is €75 and pensioners over €65 is free.

alan m is out of date, by half a century at least.  Contact your nearest Irish Embassy. Cost is 75 euro, or for people over 65, free.  ( I didn't know that before!!!)

1. Could you say where you and your mother live? I would presume USA as it's about the only nation whose people assume that everyone using the internet is in America.

2. Is your mother Irish-born - or just of Irish descent? If she was not born in Ireland, she probably will not qualify for an Irish passport, regardless of how Irish she may feel.
