  1. even better just get index card's, a black sharpie, a clear glass cup or mug (mug work's better), a glass table (like a patio table just clear and of decent size), tape, write all the letter's on the index card's then tape them down with the letters facing up on the underside of the glass table in a circle and use the cup as your scrier and there you go you have a home made Ouija board that is actually still not good to mess with either way but oh well, i gave you some help on it though

  2. If you're serious about using Ouija, let me say that they are indeed unsafe. They operate by allowing an external force to have control of your body's basic motor functions, and thus a willful lowering of willpower and submission of control to an unknown entity. Spirit boards like Ouija are honestly dangerous. My personal experience with them is that interactions with them start out positive and turn negative every time, without exception (so far). Most paranormal investigators with experience tend to shun them.

Many toy stores have them, but really, any piece of cardboard with a smooth pointer can be turned into a spirit board. What's important is the clarity of the letters on the board, and the ease with which the slider can move across it. Too much resistance, and it won't move easily enough.

The last spirit board I worked with (in 2004) was made from a pizza box, with a black magic marker, and we used a glass ashtray (which we borrowed from a neighbor). We successfully made contact with someone who knew some important and very personal things about someone in the house, and as the only person who was operating the board, I can say that it quickly went bad when there was a sudden change in which entity was having control. I relinquished control to one, and another stepped in against my will. It was all I could do to reassert myself.

The dangers are known and are real. However, if you insist that this is the only way that you can communicate, please remember to take your hands off the board, and have at least one non-participant in the room to physically remove your hands (or the pointer) if things start to go bad. Also, just because you feel okay, that doesn't mean that things are okay. An outside observer to determine when things should end is probably a good idea.

As alternatives to spirit boards like the Ouija, please let me suggest that other methods are not only safer, but tend to give more convincing results. They also cost about the same as a Ouija, and tend to give far less control to something you can't see.

  3. Do yourself a big favor and don't.  A respected psychic who works with the police in my city advises very strongly against using ouija boards.  You could attract negative spirits and demons.  Don't do it.  You could end up with an attachment.  That may sound intriguing, but this will result in nothing but constant bad luck.

  4. I thought this question was asked last week.

  5. toy safari!! lol sorry i dunno where to get a real one

  6. According to this top-secret web search engine I used called Google, the following places sell Ouija boards: Target, Toys 'R' Us, Best Buy, Amazon...

    http://www.google.com/products?source=ig...

Also, unless you're really superstitious, fantasy-prone and easily spooked, disregard the warnings about attracting demons and opening portals to "the other side".  Those are just old wives tales and folklore.

  7. Also, target.com has a glow in the dark Ouija board.  It was $16.99.  Just do a search at their site and it will come up.

  8. You can buy them at toys r us.

For the person who said you can't get them at Toys R Us maybe you should have told toys r us cause they had them when I was there yesterday and the website shows them. check this link:

    http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp...

  9. Pretty much any toy store, or toy section of a Wal-Mart type store.  Or you could just make your own.  It works the same either way - which is to say, not at all.  It's all in your head (look up the ideomotor effect) whether you spent $20 on it or made it out of a cereal box.  But it is good for freaking out gullible friends.

  10. Don't ever use one.

There have been far TOO MANY cases that I have heard of that a person uses a Ouija board and make contact with a ghost....a friendly ghost.....but then a couple sessions later, that ghost reveals itself as something evil. This is very common of the boards. I am a paranormal researcher and I among the rest of the paranormal community cringe at the thought of somebody using one of these devices. Save yourself the heartache. Don't do it.

  11. please don't. they are demonic and will attract negative spirits. they are not a toy and they are not sold at toys r us anymore.

  12. toys r us has some.. or you can find one on ebay.. maybe a witchcraft website
