Where can i get best rates on my travel money?

Hi,

I went to paris recently and it was about 5euros for a coffe in some places and what with the weak exchange rate for £300 we only get 369 euros so everything works out so expensive.

Im off to france for 2 weeks soon and wondered if anyone has any advise on where I can get the best rates and how do i make sure that I get the most for my money?

Ah Ha - you need a Nationwide bank account - use debit card at atm in France and for your £300 you would have got almost €400! Best exchange rate anywhere in the world! No fees either

If you already have a Nationwide Flexaccount use the debit card to get cash out the ATM, you get the visa rate which is always higher than the tourist rate & Nationwide make no charges.

Over the last week or so tourist exchange has been between 1.18-1.23.

Nationwide card 1.26-1.27

If you don't already have an account open one & put your holiday cash in it.
