(Fabulous treasure house of fabrics, RTW Indian stuff, shoes, and all sorts.  Nice cafe also... )

And Sidtrim in Leeds (never been, but they are brilliant on the phone!  Mainly tailoring supples, but also suit fabrics and linings, and other stuff.  Ring and ask)

  3. Try ebay, I've bought loads off there, and it's cheap!

  4. South Shields market - the saturday one is best.

There's usually a few stalls some specialise in curtain material but there's a double-sized stall with lots of different kinds, with prices from £1 a metre. I use them a lot.

If that's not convenient to get to try other markets a lot of the stall holders obviously travel to different markets other days.

  5. Our Walmart usually has a nice 1 and 2 dollar per yard section!
