  1. At the grocery store, or at a Super Wal Mart (they're always stocked at my local Wal Mart). There's plenty in a tub. Chicken liver fishing can be tricky due to the gooey consistency of liver. "Flying bait" gets pretty frustrating! Not to mention, the "nibbling the liver away" that occurs underwater. A piece of an old stocking with the liver inside it can help with those problems.

  2. Look in the poultry section of your local grocery store, or at a butcher's shop. It'll be cheaper at the grocery store than most bait shops sell them for, but you can also get them at many bait shops as well. Beef liver works as well if you have trouble finding the chicken ones in the meat department.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

  3. Most decent sized grocery stores will carry them.Don't bother going to a Super Walmart, you won't find any there.Stick with the main grocery store chains.Pick out the one with the most blood in it.You want them to be as juicy and smelly as possible to attract more catfish.

  4. Any grocery store and most bait shops will have them.  I'd say they'd cost about $5 or so.

Just curious, but what are you fishing for?  Catfish?

  5. at a grocery store

  6. They are cheap too!
