Is the site to get a free copy of your credit report. You are entitled to 1 free credit report from each of the credit bureaus each year. You will have to pay extra ($5.00-$6.00) to get your credit score.

You can also order a copy of your credit score/ report directly from the credit bureau.  Those sites are:

www.experian.com

www.equifax.com

www.transunion.com

You can also get your FICO score at www.myfico.com

Freecreditreport.com is a pay sight that tries to get business by hoping you confuse it with the government free sight.

myfico.com is the most legitimate for credit scores.  try creditboards.com for reviews.  **change "most" with "only" above.

Don't be confused by credit score and credit report.  Reports are free, scores are not.
