Where can i get death note (Anime or live action) in the U.S.?

Deathnote.tv has all the episodes and the first 2 movies.

If you want a dvd version of it, Hot Topic has the anime on DVD and the live action movies come out in September for the 1st one, and the 2nd one comes out in October.

you can also probably find them in the DVD section of other stores like target, walmart, or bestbuy. just go to their sites to find a store near you.
