Where can i get free helicopter plans?

It's probably a negative answer, but you WILL NOT get any plans for a helicopter. Even if you were able to, there would be hundreds....yes hundreds, of blueprints for not only the airframe, but for wiring, engine installation, drive system...everything. If you really want helicopter plans, you can buy a home built helicopter and the plans will come with it. I know they make 1 seat mini 500's that you can build, but they look like death traps to me.

The only way your going to get free helicopter plans is if you design one yourself.  No one who manufactures a helicopter is going to give you plans to build a helicopter much less would be be able to build a type certificated helicopter to begin with.  Even then if you do happen to come up with some plans and the materials tooling and FAA approval to build a helicopter your going to have to slap a experimental tag on it and until you get your helicopter pilots license it's going to sit on the ground.
