You can join the many other poor souls who sit on the street with signs requesting money or food.  Sit in front of the restaurant you most desire food from.  I'd probably give you my left overs if I saw you there.  And, in the case of a fast food restaurant, I'd probably buy you a combo meal of your choice.  I'm a sucker for that kind of thing.
